What steps need to be taken in order to become an insurance adjuster for Evans Claims Service?

1. Contact our training department to register for our adjuster licensing course.
2. Once you have received a license from the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) register for the Property Adjuster Field Training Class. Upon completion of the class you will be added to our deployment roster.
3. Attend courses such as Xactimate 24, sketch, ethics, flood and earthquake in order to gain knowledge and build a resume'.

How long will it take before I can begin working as an adjuster?

Upon completion of the licensing course it will take approximately 3-4 weeks to receive your license from TDI. Once you receive your license and complete the Property Adjusters training course, you are ready for deployment. The whole process usually takes 30-45 days.

How much will I need to invest outside of training expenses?

You will need a laptop, printer, digital camera, ladder and a few other small items once you are deployed. Depending on how many of these items you already own, the cost will vary.

Even though I have trained elsewhere, am I still eligible to deploy with Evans Claims Service?

Yes. All licensed adjusters are eligible for our deployment roster. However, all adjusting firms are unique in how they process their claims. We recommend that you train with the companies you would like to work for.
