Logins and Emails and Hurricanes!
All logins to the CMS are currently disabled while we undergo some maintenance. Don't panic, we'll have it back soon.
An update for those on stand by still: Claims are still coming in, and we're deploying as quickly as we can. Please feel free to call us and check in and find out your status and let us know if you're still interested.
We are also issuing an availability alert for Hurricane Ike as well, so please accept as being available for that storm too!
And, finally, to clarify my last post, only those adjusters that have claims in hand and are in Louisiana already have active email accounts. All others on stand by deployment still do not have active accounts yet.

If you've been deployed, please check your evansclaims.com email account. Only those currently in the field have active email accounts.
Your email address is the same as your username for the CMS @evansclaims.com.
If you experience trouble checking your email, please check with your superviosr or call Nathan at the office.
Also, I posted the Adjuster Resources page with instruction manuals, software, and other important information. Check your email for the page access password.

Urgent Update
The Orientation meeting that was scheduled for this Thursday has been DELAYED! We are in the process of calling all of the adjusters that are scheduled for deployment at this time.
We won't be able to get into Louisiana until Sunday, at the earliest and we don't want to have you all sitting and waiting.
Please be patient as we reschedule the orientation. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call us!
If you're interested in working with Evans Claims Service and have not yet, please download and complete the 2008 Adjuster Packet and return it to us by fax or email. Make sure to include the signed contract.

For those requiring a Louisiana Emergency License: We will send in one list of adjusters to the LDI. Please bring a $25 check made to Evans Claims Service to the orientation. We will have forms to complete at orientation. Again, we will send in all the required information FOR YOU. All you will need to do is provide us a check made for $25.00.
Also, to recap the latest information:
If you're interested in working, please complete the Adjuster Packet HERE. We added the contract to the packet, so those of you that sent it in without the contract, please go back to the Adjuster Packet page and complete the Contract Form. Contracts and packets should be emailed to april.hatter@evansclaims.com.
If you've tried to fax your packet but have had trouble, please keep trying. We only have one fax machine and it's working double duty! If you can't get through on the fax line, you can electronically sign the forms and email them to April.
We're planning an orientation meeting for Wednesday or Thursday. We'll post the details when we have it.

I just added the Adjuster Contract to the 2008 Adjuster Packet page. Make sure to add it when you return your packet to us.

April and I just sent out the first round of contracts. If you've completed and returned the Adjuster Packet, you should have the contract in your email inbox. Please sign and return those as quickly as possible. If you have any questions, we can be reached at the office after 9:00 this morning.
If you still have not submitted your Adjuster Packet to us, please do so today! See below for complete instructions on filling out the forms and returning the packet to us.

Evans Claims Service has begun deploying for Hurricane Gustav. If you've received a text message about deployment please do the following:
1. If you have not yet completed the Adjuster Packet, please download it NOW. Complete the forms and return them to April Hatter. The forms can be downloaded HERE. Email the completed documents to april.hatter@evansclaims.com.
2. Upon receipt of your completed packet, we will email you a contract. Please complete the contract and email it back to April. Without a signed contract you will not be deployed!
3. Log into your account and familiarize yourself with the Claims System and stand by for further information.

We're gearing up for Gustav. If you're interested in working, please complete the following steps.
You MUST complete each of the following steps to be eligible for deployment and to go on DAY RATE:
1. Login to your account and accept the alert.
2. Download and print the Adjuster Packet HERE
3. Return the completed Adjuster Packet to april.hatter@evansclaims.com.
4. You may use a .pdf maker to combine all of the forms into one .pdf file to email us. This isn't required, but you may find it easier. pdfFactory is free to download and use the trial version.
